I had a good laugh today. Did you know active alcoholism is now called ADHD? what about the flu? any other names its been called?

"Just tired" is the most common one I've heard.

I've heard "boredom."   My late AH once stopped drinking voluntarily for an entire year.  Made the resolution on New Year's and supposedly kept it until the next New Year's Day when he announced he would be starting to drink again because not drinking was "boring".

Yeah, before AA, I did relapse due to what I termed "no fun" not drinking. That what what happened when I white knuckled it. "I'm just tired" is the most frequent lame excuse or other reason given for being/appearing drunk...also "sick, stressed out, angry, and you are crazy!" are common go tos.

I forgot "I just had a couple!" "I can't do anything to please you!" And everyone's favorite, "You just think this is a problem because.of your crazy family!"
