The time has come to put everything I've learned to the test. My son will be released next month and I have decided to help him get started with a hand and love but I promised myself I will never again engage in his business.
He has done well for himself in prison. He's a Per Counselor, teaches self awareness classes, welds, trains horses, teaches guitar classes, writes for the prison paper and is learning every thing he can about life. He has grown in prison and I think he's a better man for it.
I again want to thank all the people here that has help me though this....I will never forget. My love and hope for everyone is that life can bring us peace and bring us closer to our HP.
I'll keep you and your son in my thoughts and prayers! May he continue to grow and learn and lead by example on the outside. I am certain you'll do just fine, one day at a time.

((((Cathy)))) so very often we need to stop and just be quiet and peaceful and learn and prisons can do that for us. I am glad he has been successful and used the success to help others also. HP working the miracle for him and you and us. It works when you work it. Does he get to keep the horse? lol ((((hugs))))

That is exciting news for you both. He has worked hard and grown in his program and you have clearly worked hard and grown in yours. I sincerely wish you all of the best in the upcoming months.

Nothing more to life that becoming a better person is there? I'm so pleased that there is good in the world and that you are feeling the benefits.
Excited for you Cathy!! Hard to believe it has been 2 years although I bet it didn't seem that quick to you.
