The 12 Steps of Christmas

1. Admitted we were powerless over Christmas and that our lives had become unmanageable.
2. Came to believe that a power greater than consumer credit could restore our sanity.
3. Made a decision to turn our will and our lives over to Santa as we understood him.
4. Made a searching and fearless moral inventory of our material desires.
5. Admitted to Santa, ourself and another human being the exact nature of our size, color preferences and taste in clothing.
6. Allowed Santa to remedy all defects of bank account. 
7. Humbly asked him > Santa to pay off our mortgage.
8. Made a list of everything we have ever wanted and became willing to read instruction manuals..
9. Cited model numbers and retail locations whenever possible except when to do so would require an internet search.
10. Continued to take personal inventory and when we thought of something else we wanted, added it to the list.
11. Sought through prayer and meditation to improve our conscious contact with Santa as we understood Him, praying only for knowledge of His gifts for us and the power to open them quickly. 
12. Having had a spiritual awakening as a result of these steps, we carry Santa's message as we understand it to others especially friends and family every year at Christmas.
