Letting Go - an awesome poem

hi all, i shared this poem on the board about a year or so ago, and a friend was asking me about a little while back.  Thought i'd post it here for her and the newer members that maybe might like it to.

LET GO

As children bring thier broken toys- with tears- for us to mend,

I brought my broken dreams to Him because He was my Friend.

But then, instead of leaving Him in peace to work alone,

I hung around and tried to help with ways that were my own.

At last I snatched them back and cried, "How can You be so slow?"

"My child," He said, "What could I do?...

you never did let go."

I'm not for sure on the author, but I believe her name is Cindy Jacobs. What i am for sure on, is that she has a heck of a way with words!

love ya all, Trina
