Big girl panties

I know the title is strange, a friend told me that when I was whining. .time to put on the big girl panties and deal with it.

Loving an addict is not for the weak, you may feel weak at times but all the things that we handle we're pretty tough folks.

My 2 hour volunteer event yesterday turned into an all day affair, why come home and stare at the phone lol.

I guess he's still mad cuz I didn't leave work on Friday and come watch him twitch  and babble.  True insanity wrecking your bike and refusing medical care smh.

Have a serene Sunday everyone

ceewi - I did laugh outloud a little on your title.....I have said this before lovingly and have heard it too.

When we are in the throws of this disease, it's so difficult to see or realize there is another, better way to live....

Choose you and do your best to focus on you and recovery. May you continue to find yourself in the midst of this disease and continue to choose to get healthy, one day at a time!

ceewi I t is a difficult road we travel I did find that praying for the person helped me as well. I could say a prayer, turn them over to HP andgo about my day with courage, serenity and wisdom.

Talking about another, blaming them for how I felt was so very destructive to my self esteem. I did not realize that by doing this I was giving my power away to another and abandoning my responsibilities to myself-- My focus and attention needed t be on my life action
Keep coming back
