i had a wonderful night at my Ala-non meeting. We had a potluck thanksgiving dinner and there was so much laughter and love and support there. I made scarves for all the members and it was so amazing. Even though i gave out the scaves wrapped and randomly, an awesome thing happened. a mother,grandmother and set of 9yr old twins in the same family got the same exact colors, also the rest of everyone's scarves exactly matched what each person was wearing. HP working there? gotta think hes too busy but maybe my sister the angel was up there doing magic...
on a serious and annoying level..ah was totally drunk last nite when i got home and today he is a mean a-hole. different day,same ah... Finally next weekend,bro in law is going to help me find a place..cant wait... feel strong.
Love, love, love the message of fellowship! We had a pot-luck on Wednesday afternoon and are already planning another. The meeting after the meeting sometimes gives me as much or more of what I need - and yes...I too believe that HP/God attends with us. How cool about the match-ups with your scarves....Put a smile on my face.
So glad that you've got a plan to move forward in your choice of recovery. So sorry that your AH was ... well ... doing what they do, but I believe you are growing in front of our eyes. Love your share and love the program in action. Keep moving forward - (((Hugs)))!!

Your HP was using you to give away happiness. I love when that happens and then the home coming brings you back to the other reality..."alcoholism is a disease of the mind, body, spirit and emotions" I don't have to like it...just accept that it is happening to me for the moment...not a life time.
