Daisy, you can see her in my profile pic and attached. She's 18-19 years old, and been the best dog we ever could have hoped for, been here all my son's life. She's been healthy as a horse, he vet is continually amazed at her good health.
She's a mutt we got at the humane society. We came originally for a different dog, but when we got there she was too far gone, so wife looked over at Daisy, Daisy looked her and gave her the eyes, and we took her home. She's stolen our hearts ever since.
She had a seizure last night. She went on phenobarbitol, but apparently had 4 more seizures this morning, wife has her at the vet's, but I think it will be time to let go of her. We've been prepping for this moment for awhile, but it still isn't any good, especially for our son.
Thanks for any prayers sent our way for our family.
((Kenny)) she is a beauty. I can sense she is very much loved and has had a great life since joining your family .
Prayers and positive thoughts on the way for all.
Daisy is a lucky girl to have had you guys love her so much and take such good care of her. Sending prayers to you, your family, and your sweet pup Daisy.
Thanks everyone. It's done. She went unafraid, and we were able to say goodbye to her. When I bent to kiss her head the last time, it was soaked with tears, both sad and happy.
This is the price we pay for all the love we get over the years. It is well worth it.
I'm sorry for your loss Kenny. One of our dogs has been hanging on with a ton of medical issues for like half her life. Been preparing for the same, but she keeps truckin...
If I had a world of my own, everything would be nonsense. Nothing would be what it is, because everything would be what it isn't. And contrary wise, what is, it wouldn't be. And what it wouldn't be, it would. You see? (Lewis Caroll)
(((Kenny + Family))) - what a beauty she was. How great that you rescued her but she ended up rescuing you all. That's how I see pets - they are so spiritual just as they are. Unconditionally giving us what we need when we need it.
I am sure she left here knowing that she was loved. I am so sorry for your loss - peace to all of you during your time of mourning.

Daisy's eyes are so full of love and peaceful acceptance. Our four pawed friends are wonderful teachers aren't they and I'm wishing Daisy peace and sunny frolicsome fields.
Kenny helping a dog cross over is the most difficult thing I have ever done. Daisy was beautiful and I hope in the days to come her memory makes you smile and the pain eases.
Hugs to you. We have had to do this to some special dogs too. I always tell myself that when I cross, they will all be there waiting for me. There is nothing more precious, than a loving dog.
Kenny - I am tearing up as I type this remembering exactly how you are feeling now. We did the same with our 12 year old Boxer last August and it is heartbreaking and beautiful all at the same time. I miss her everyday as you will Daisy. Prayers for peace and comfort my friend and gentle hugs to you as well.
