Flash flood warning!!

Rain...heavy, heavy rain and thunder and lightening and stuff!! and thank HP for a memory that is still intact as I remember the old timers repeating "IT'S ALL STUFF".  Yes it is  S T U F F.  That was last  night and a bit ago the emergency news repeated the warning...S T U F F is still around  and will be coming time and again.   I love the lightening stuff...far away and very close...the God's light show I call it.  I love to go outside and watch it take over the night sky.  Going outside doesn't mean while holding a lightening rod in my hand...I don't do that STUFF anymore.  I'm still inquisitive and no longer crazy...go figure.   wink  ((((hugs))))

((Jerry I to love your expression :"still inquisitive,no longer crazy". I was "inquisitive" recently on my cruise as I sat inside watching the storm and high waves. It was exciting and I was safe.
Positive thoughts on the way

Great share Jerry - I am still a bit crazy at times and persistently inquisitive....

I was the child of 4 who always asked, Why? or Who? I vividly remember the frustrated perplexed look on my mother's face when every Lent season I kept asking, "Who says we can't eat meat on Friday?" Oi......year after year after year after year.....She tried to convince me it was in the bible - I couldn't find it and kept asking Where? So - blind faith for me was a great leap from my mind of origin.

I work to turn my crazy into learning. After all, if I didn't go thru what I've been thru I wouldn't be who I am....

Stay Safe!!!

You don't even want to get me started on the questions I asked about weather.....!!! My poor parents - had 3 easy boys an then me!

I do so relate my Kansas sister and you had me laughing with the similarities!! Humor is a large part of my recovery with most of it coming within "What I did" rather than what I found out and what I do now.  Was coming come from my morning meeting and driving up into the storm in the mountain side...what a perspective of Higher Power!! I was safe.  Its a part of the perspective.  (((hugs))) smile

Oh Jerry - yes, yes, yes - humor and being light-hearted are definite ways my program has saved me! When faced with drama, my first thought is don't react, don't react.....then when I call upon HP to lead me, my first question often is, What is your will and how would a normal adult respond/react in this situation?

I went to a meeting this morning (other side) and a new person that was to meet me as of yesterday did not show. I prayed and texted 6 hours ago, and no news. It's been a HP kind of day...

So glad you're able to watch the lovely light show but be away from the danger! Thanks for confirming that I am not alone in my 'crazy inquiring thinking'....
