And the fun ha begun. AH brought me to my daughter in laws mothers house as we are supposed to leave this morning and head out to Indiana. And of course the phone rings last night and already something is wrong...the dogs this and the dogs that,, says what if we don't get a signal at that distance.... Now of course this was during the evening meeting that he knows I do every night. If he only knew I hope to God there is no signal..  just want a little time of peace...thought he might want the same. done venting

(((Broken))) -

I agree - it is what you make it. My parents live in a valley across the country from me. They literally have 'iffy' cell service in their location/town. It was stressful the first time I went to visit with all that was going on here. It has now become a gift. What I learned is while things may not be done/taken care of/resolved 'my way' - when push comes to shove, the A(s) can/will carry on.

Have a marvelous trip and try to take time for you!! Breathe, relax and most of all stay in the moment. The best part of the current technology - you can shut it off, turn it down, ignore it, etc. Use the technology to your advantage and enjoy the company/trip/son/etc.

Stay safe and keep us posted!!
