Hi Debbie, Thanks to alanon I now understand that my old unrealistic, negative tools of pretending to be happy by denying reality and my magical thinking did not work.
Alanon gave me constructive tools so as I would be able to be truly happy.
By stopping my judging, blaming, and gossiping, staying in the moment, focusing on the positive and treating everyone with courtesy and respect, serenity replaced anxiety and joy, and happiness followed.
That you for this! Yesterday was a tough day for some reason I can't really explain, and today, I am committed to leave yesterday behind and focus on the positives of today.
