The material presented
here is not Al-Anon Conference Approved Literature. It is a method
to exchange
information, ideas, feelings, problems and solutions on a personal
level.
This week was one of the worst weeks I have had in about a year. I have done A LOT of venting, obsessing, complaining, ruminating, and attempting to change outcomes that are out of my control. With that being said, I have A LOT to be grateful for:
* YOU GUYS in Al-Anon have guided me through this dark week and showed me that there is a light at the end of the tunnel.
* My family and friends who have listened to the same stories countless times, and remained patient and sensitive to my feelings.
*My puppy who literally kissed away my tears today.
Great gratitude list RS. I find that daily gratitude and asset lists really do help me to find myself and restore my self esteem, self worth and peace.
If you keep an open mind you will find help...remember this statement at the end of our face to face meetings? Open mindedness will help you expand the gratitude list. It has already helped you add your puppy ....Yay for critters!! Keep at it...let it grow and bring it back here please. ((((hugs))))
Lovely job RS - keep up the positive work and self-care!!!
Glad you are here and yet another 'yay' for fur-babies from my small part of this world.
So glad you've made it through 'that' and came out stronger and with grace to move forward!
