Debb --This is one I must be careful with, as my magical thinking might see miracles where there are none .
I believe that life must be lived going forward and understood in retrospect. That is why, at the end of each year, I make it a NY's Eve practice to do a "year end" review . It is there that I can see HP's "whispers" and truly understand the support and help I have received.
I've become so simple-minded about my life that when coincidences happen in my day, I tend to wonder if that was HP or just reality.....for me, it truly doesn't matter - I am one who believes each experience we have is a learning opportunity. I have to remain grateful, no matter if I view things as going good or I view things as not going so good.
I am grateful that life experiences and daily events lead me towards more joy and peace. I am grateful for the pain I've experienced as it's made me a better person. I am always looking to do the next right thing. I know when I am uncomfortable, I need to listen and learn and grow.
I am not too sure I even know what a coincidence is, but do believe I am led each day to peace and joy if/when I accept life on life's terms and surrender my will to the care of God....
Interesting concept - I think I need more coffee or something!!!
Thanks Debb - lovely share + lovely thread - Happy Friday to one and all!

And Betty, I was just thinking about this a couple of days ago, that "life must be lived going forward and understood in retrospect". Of course, I didn't come up with a brilliant way of putting like you just did, so I will remember this going forward.
Every day I come on this board I seem to learn something great! Thanks everyone!
