I have a little more information on the two situations that have been going on around me.
My friends son is in rehab however not by his choice. So good news bad news kind of thing. My heart dropped when she told me exactly how bad things had really gotten. Maybe at least the seeds of recovery are starting to be placed in the back of his mind even if he's not willingly there. For now he's safe and he's not allowed to come home and he has no where else to go. So that's the very good part. So continued prayers for that situation.
My sponsor is getting treatment however the Dr's are still not exactly sure with what they are totally dealing with, I did get to speak with her yesterday and she sounds tired .. however good. I'm grateful for that big time. I want everyone to know how powerful Alanon families are .. everyone has rallied around her, bringing dinner, taking her to appointments, making sure she's getting rest. They are even talking of moving the Tues meeting to her home so she can continue to participate in the meetings/program. I am so grateful for these people. I see how amazing things happen when these families are put into action.
If you could all continue to lift her up in prayer as well. I was grumbling about her being in pain and she's a devote Catholic and her response was well honey, when I think about what Jesus had to endure for me this is nothing. Well if that doesn't put things into perspective pretty dang quick. I just want her to be comfortable and not be in pain on top of everything else that is going on.
Hugs S :)

Thanks for the update Serenity I will continue to hold positive thoughts and pray for your intentions. When my hubby was ill his Home Group moved the AA meeting to my home and it was an inspirational experience for me.
I too will keep these folks in prayer. I agree - the recovery family is great and will go above and beyond to help another in need. So humbling and inspiring at the same time!
(((Hugs))) Serenity - keep up the faith - all will happen as it is supposed to!
