Insane words of alcoholic just do not end

Alcoholic Bf is sleeping after a 2 day bender of 24 hours non stop. 1st night was good. I took some sleep medication and slept. He came into the bed a few times and tried to wake me up but I told him to let me sleep. I guess he had none to listen to his drunk talk. He woke up at 9 am and started drinking again. I tried to avoid him all day and walked away many times from him and just let him sit with his beer alone. I tried and tried to not engage and talk to him but as I was having a bbq he was outside and started in on me. He said I pay and pay for this house and its mine and what have you paid for this house..( i have title in house), and I work and pay my ass for this house and your doing nothing to pay for this house. This is my house, hear me my house and I want you and your daughter out of this house by September. Do you hear me, get out.  I own this house and I pay for the bills here. I tried to ignore him but I finally lost it and said pay me out then and I will gladly leave. He said I will pay you out what you put in for money and on and on he went. He even called the neighbor down and said I do not want her near my yard again, you hear me ( the neighbor has a dog and she and I take the dog for a walk). Then he went on and on about the badness of the neighbor. Its ongoing and unreal. Its all directed at me and I have had enough. I do see a pattern here, if its not keeping the house clean enough, its the dog, if its not the dog, its the neighbor, if its not the neighbor its the house. Its always something he flips out on when drunk. I am so fed up. I try and try to not engage in the insanity, but I do not know how much I can tolerate. He is getting worse. He is leaving for his brother funeral tomorrow for a week across the country and I too am going to go away, go home (9 hour drive), and I will do some serious consideration about moving closer to home. I will look for a place to live there as I can not do this anymore. I have to get away from his craziness. Now that he is sleeping off a two day bender I do not expect him to be functional for the remainder of the day. I have plans to do things on my own for the day. He can have the house to himself and all the bills when I leave. Then he will have something to complain about then. I keep saying I deserve better but I keep staying. What is wrong with this picture? I just want calm and sanity in the home, not craziness and verbal garbage. Another thing he keeps saying is I am older than you and you need to move on with someone your age...He is 6 years old than me. He is sick, sick, sick...

Sadly this sounds like typical alcoholic insanity - typical, but unbearable.

You say you have "had enough," which I'm sure any of us can well understand.  But you're choosing to stay with him, have I understood correctly?  Because I haven't heard anything about making plans to disentangle and get one of you moved out.  So your actions tell him (and you) that you haven't really had enough - that you do prefer this to the alternative.

I don't mean to be harsh.  I guess it comes round again to the saying "He's going to do what he's going to do - what are you going to do?"

Hugs.

Nice that he'll be gone for a week. Definitely, something you could put at the top of your gratitude list. Hope you enjoy the week and do good things for yourself.  ((hugs))) TT
