Thanks for sharing your process for feeling, dealing and healing from your divorce. Glad you're giving yourself time and being gentle with yourself as you grieve. It does take time but it sounds like you're excited about your new home and choosing things and moving forward. ((hugs))) TT

Thanks tired, grief is something i never really
Experienced at this level of hurt and pain.
Yes i am happy at my new apartment. I just
Want to feel normal again. Not self absorbed
In my hurt and pain. I am generally a happy
Giving person. Its not coming naturally yet,
Hopefully i get me back :)
Yeah, I understand. It takes a lot out of a person. I use to not be able to concentrate and had to learn to not push myself too much to do too many things in a day. Sometimes I tried to keep doing things as a way of pushing the grief away. If you don't have Alanon's book Opening Our Hearts, Transforming Our Losses, it's a nice book about the grief process and may help you through. You are definitely not alone concerning these feelings. We grieve the loss of them when we're sitting in the same room with them and they are drinking and then we grieve them again when we're out of their physical presence. More serenity comes with time and the distance and the absence of the chaos. Hang in there. Keep reaching out. ((((mirandac)))

I hear you working your program and doing the next right thing! Kudos for walking through the days with grace and hope for your future. Keep doing what you are doing and HP will get you thru this - in his time.
Glad you are enjoying your new home! I feel that decorating/styling a home is a never-ending process!!! perhaps I am just a slow decorator but it sure seems to be a slow process for me.
Hang tight and thanks for posting!

Miranda, your progress is great to watch. Your moving onwards and upwards and I like your style, your doing it your own way and your in no hurry which would suggest your progress is deep. Good for you.x

Xah does not feel i deserve what he earned.
He will have to live a much more frugal life
Style and work harder. That was probably
What i was feeling telepathic hate and
Discontent last night from him. He got
His possessions back and the debt.
If he had embraced real recovery in AA our life
would Have been so much better and healthier
not How it ended up though. It takes two healthy
people To work on a relationship.
