update to help. .

Found the alc sob. His truck was at neighbors. Daughter and i were driving by to go for ice cream. I almost threw up and she started to cry when saw the truck. Less than a mile from our home. I went in the hose. . He was passed out in her(yes, another local drunk) couch. I woke him, he was all, "what, i just fell asleep". . I was furious. Calmly though let him kno i was ticked, walked out and went back home. Dauguter was a mess. We cuddled and taljed and cried. Now two hrs from finding him he has dragged self home. Lovely.

(((hugs)))

I'm too new to have anything of substance to offer other than support...

Please stay here, there are people who can give you the right tidbit of info to help you connect somehow and give you better resources than my hug!

This sounds very painful.  The question I wish someone had asked me early on is: If you knew that nothing was going to change, that this is going to continue to be who he is, what actions/decisions would you make?

Hugs!

(((Hugs))) - so glad you posted and shared - my experience is sharing the pain cuts it in half - at least for a bit.

Try to breathe, find a program person to talk to and know we are here for you.

Sorry for your daughter - and this totally affirms for me how powerless we are over this dreadful disease. Do what you can for you (and your daughter).

Well, thank you for caring enough to take a minute for me. I have yet to put on eyes my ah since he came home. I just cant bear to even look at him. Hes in the same clothes he worked in on friday, he stinks and is hungover. Hes acting all innocent and as if nothing is wrong. Daughter tried to make nice with him for the few minutes he was not asleep. . I couldnt. Im also waking him to go to bed. Nope. Cant do it. I know i should just end this relationship but as my daughter said earlier. . . "It just feels wrong to not have mom and dad together, i dont want to be a kid with two houses". . My staying is about her. I know leaving would in the long run possibly be be better, but fir now, she sleeps in her own bed, next door to me every night. . Regardless of his bullsh**. . goddnight for now, im going to enjoy my empty bed. .
