The ODA T reading for May 10 talks about the power of detachment. It states that being detached does not mean we're not living a caring, is just indicated, we are allowing another with dignity to take care of themselves as we take care of ourselves in a healthy fashion
the reading goes on to state that there is a spiritual truth that believes that " what we are meant to know will come to our knowledge without any action on our part." This is the thinking behind the slogan Let go and Let God
I have honestly found the above to be very true. My some miraculous intervention. I have been led to the knowledge of certain events that I would not have been able to know about otherwise.there was no need for me to search about to discover what another was doing or thinking-- HP revealed to me in the most mysterious ways.
The quote is from Thomas a Kempis: "He that is in perfect peace suspects no one but he that is discontented and disturbed is tossed about with various suspicions, He is neither quiet himself, nor does he allow others to be quiet.
I have found that to be true too. When I need to know, I will find out. Sometimes it is spooky how it all works out, but it does. Sometimes it is someone spilling a secret, or me just being in someone's company and they state a fact as if I already knew it. It is just having all the pieces of a puzzle come together and making sense of what i see.
Since I can trust the process, I don't need to worry about it. I will know when I need to know.
