I am not new to Alanon. I attended some meetings years ago but never have worked the steps. Now my life is unmanageable and I am ready to get to work on myself. Growing up in an alcoholic house, I became a perfectionist. This includes always working a full-time job and a part-time job. Part-time I am self-employed doing income tax and bookkeeping. At the beginning of the week, I was super-stressed because I had taken on too much tax work and the tax deadline is today. On Tuesday morning, I decided to turn my situation over to my hp.
Later Tues morning, I went online to a news site and read that due to an error, our tax deadline has been extended to next Tuesday! Thank you hp. I was thrilled and now I have enough time to complete the work without stressing.
I am grateful to be back and to all who have been so kind to me on this forum.
