Hi. I was getting really tired of focusing so much on my AH ..so I took a break from posting. So...my house is supposed to be sold at auction May 1. Yikes. AH is filing bankruptcy. I went to the lawyer with him, but I decided not to file bankruptcy and just let the house go. He thinks he can save it...so let him try. I filed for divorce. He still hasnt replied. I call the shots as far as visitation with our daughter...and he continues to whine to me about it. oh well. Poor baby. I filed a case for child support. He has been working for over a month or so now and I get a few pennies here and there...just enough for gas and a little food. he claims he is trying to pay lawyers to save the house and file his divorce response. Some days I am so angry. But I keep looking at the positive things in my life. I have some great friends who are helping me through this. My mom and sister are great too. I get worried about still having things in the house...like some old furniture I might want to sell. But is it worth my time and trouble? Probably not. My AH said he would buy the furniture from me. uh...ok? How does $5000 sound? ha ha. The furniture actually has bad memories. I have a doll cabinet and a china cabinet that my first husband took a stick to and damaged them both when I ignored him one time....right before he moved out...Then my current knight in shining armor (not) fixed the damage. I am not missing the things that I still have in that house...so the person who might end up buying the dump can have it all. I dont care. I need to simplify my life. I wish the house would disappear into a sink hole!
So onto more positive things. I have a new full time job but it is mentally exhausting. I was in training for 6 weeks full time...so I haven't had much time to come here. It's nice to be at a new place where nobody knows my past. Ive kept my mouth shut. there really isnt time to socialize at this new job....so I actually like that. My daughter is going to school daycare more often...but I think she will adjust. Funny story about my duaghter. This is a good example of how it isnt a good idea to feel guilty about things. My daughter wanted another guinea pig so her current one could have a friend. I kept saying no...then I caved in. Oh what the heck...she deserves another one...its ok. So I bought a guinea pig off Craigs list from a guy who breeds them..I thought it was odd he only brought us one to look at. I couldnt find another female in a pet store, thats why i went online. Anyway....my friend came over one night and said my new guinea pig looked pregnant...no way...she is just fat!! Right??!! Surprise!! She had FOUR babies 5 days later. now we have SIX guinea pigs!! so I havent been able to even give them away. I am trying to surrender them to a rescue. Gotta laugh. Then I saw a dove sitting on her eggs in my plant in the back yard. Is it a sign??
So thats my update. Ive been talking to my sponsor, but I dont have much time to go to meetings. I need to adjust to my new work schedule. lots of changes....just taking things one day, sometimes one hour at a time. The best part about working more is I really dont have much time to think about my problems.

It sounds like a lot of positive change for you! (And, don't tell my wife, or we will end up with those babies! She is still upset our friends decided to keep theirs... I am not. Chloe and Guinea pigs? Not a good match, lol!)
Glad things are going well. I like the busy. Busy, I have found, is my refuge.

Thanks for the update! Oh babies are so fun, but yes I have had to give away baby pets too and it is a chore and separate the parents ugg, it's a good learning lesson though. I love being busy, it keeps me out of my head and yes keeping work professional and keeping the personal drama outside of work is crucial for me to enjoy my job. You are doing so well and I am glad to hear it. Sending you lots of love and support on your journey!

It is great to hear from you! I am glad things sound busy in a good way. It sounds like a rich and full life and I am glad that you have the ability to even know and also to be able to say "I don't want to think about him any more." That was something you had to work through and towards. Kudos!!
Skorpi, I had to read your post twice because one of our guinea pigs name is Chloe!! And PC, at my new job they say "kudos" a lot when it comes to giving us praise.
I am doing pretty good overall...considering whats going on in my life.
