My Progress

Today I was comparing my yoga posture to that of the teacher. I am new at it. When she referenced our heads ON THE FLOOR (mine wouldn't even come close), I realized it was closer today than it was last time. I need to be faithful to trying, and I trust I will progress.

I know that's how this works, too. I'm not going to expect perfection. I know perfect can be the enemy of the good. I am already so much better at detaching with love while still working on the practice. I am grateful for the serenity I have found here. Counting my blessings. Thank you for sharing my progress.

I do yoga too and what a great way to think about it... the more we practice the better we get...

I love the quote Progress not perfection and can get stuck in my head comparing myself to others. I love your take on realizing you are doing better than last time and that is exactly how it goes. Sending you love and support!
