Hi Hilda, do you need an Al Anon sponsor, or are you looking for something else? Please give more background. Thanks!

Hi Hildabenta, who in your life is drinking or drugging? An al-anon sponsor will not be able to get money or food for you....

Hi Hilda, Do you have Al Anon meetings in your area? I recommend going to a face to face meeting if they are available to you, you can come back out of crisis mode and be able to rationally think over your decisions. if you don't have face to face meetings, there are online meetings in the chatroom here - look in the upper-left-hand corner of this page for guidance.

Yes leaving the one you love who is drinking is the hardest thing to do. Of course you are sad. You miss the good times. that's normal.

If you are being abused or you are in danger of abuse and you have a small child, you really could do nothing else but leave.
