I just called him and asked what time I should pick him up. He said Dr. wants him one more day. BP is back up and ammonia level in blood is rising again. Poor guy.
The good thing is I can meet with my Sponsor, I always do on Thursdays and was not able to last week.

I just called my Sponsor...she has some sort of bacterial infection, needless to say I"M NOT GOIN!!! no way, no how!!
Actually, it's ok w/me. I really need one day to do nothing and decompress. I'll go to hospial later but beyond that I'm taking a "me day". Son won't be coming home until about 6pm because he has band practice. Louie the terror (oops terrior) is sleeping for now.
Haven't really had this for 2 weeks. All I can say is: ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh (sigh of total relief)
Thanks HP!!!

For now he is getting the care he needs. Hang in there and try and relax. I am glad you are taking some "me " time. You deserve it and you will be all the more stronger, when he comes home.
I am so happy that you can practice self care at such a difficult time. I always put myself into the ground and then my health went too. I will no longer do that. Thank you for being a shining example on compassion, detachment and of course the ultimate self care and focus on you
I agree with all above, he is right where he needs to be. And for you,,,,a well needed "me" day. Take advantage of the quiet and the serenity for now, as you need it. Best wishes......gardengal
