My A has stopped hallucinating (4 days worth), and he slept for 16 hrs. Today he is still very lethargic but does know who we are for the fist time since early Sunday. He has pneumonia and his blood pressure is still not under control. He also had an MRI today and that looked good. It looks like the initial horror of detox is over. He has a long way to go. This may have been his bottom, we'll just have to take it ODAT. He did again say he would go to rehab (thank God). I could only be there a couple hours today. I took a Vicadin for my back when I got up and it didn't work so I took another. After being in the hosp for a couple hours and realizing that A was just going to sleep all day, I decided to come home and do the same.
Love you all... Christy

Thanks for the update! So glad to hear that at least the initial hell is over. Glad that you got a chance to make a decision to take care of yourself a bit too.

Glad you both are getting your much needed rest and that he is aware of who you are now. We never can truly know what it's like until we go thru it ourselves, huh? I tell ya what tho, I can just feel your love and strength when you talk about all this, and that is such an awesome thing. So glad you share with us (((((Cjo)))))). Still saying prayers for ya.
Love you!!
