Good Grief Enabling!

((((((((((Roomies)))))))))))),

So many newbies ask us to give them an example of enabling. The past couple of days, I have some of the best examples in my comic strip. I have been a Peanuts fan since the beginning of time. (Remember I'm older than dirt.) So everyday I go to www.snoopy.com for my daily dose. These strips are not the same as the ones that appear in your paper. Lo and behold there is Linus trying to give up his blanket! There's good old Charlie Brown giving it back to him when he begs for it back. Because Charles is a good boy who wants to please the world and be loved. Hmmmmm........ sound familiar?

Can't think of a sweeter and more gentle example of enabling than that. I always knew Charles Shultz had ways of touching people in his strips, but who'd have thought? It's worth taking a look at the past few days.
Hope this helps!

Live strong,
Karilynn
