Working with an alcoholic is hopeless.


I tried to come up with a comprimize, tried to change my behavior, tried to let his behaviour go, nothing works!


It is valentine's day, and I asked him not to come home today.


Tomorrow, I will make a new decision.


I need to figure out if this is worth doing.  Right now, i sure don't think so.

One year my ex-husband who was an A and a drug addict was in bed with a hangover when i got home from work.  No he hadn't went to work that day, no he hadn't remebered it was V-day.  Needless to say, a very good girlfriend of mine at work who knew I was ready to leave and start a new life, made me this beautiful basket (as i got nothing for x-mas either).  I cried when she gave it to me and to this day i don't think she realizes how much it ment to me.  Any way, when I got home that night who asked who the basket was from and I told him,  His response "well at least you got something".  I said to him that your V-day present to me this year could be a night in peace.  Please go out with your friends and don't come home.  I left my marriage 2 months later.


I so hear your frustration and give you a big hug.
