we get the messages - just so long as we get the message.


Tonight I was putting youngest to bed and he did not want to sleep in his room because of nightmares last night.  To take his mind of the nightmares and ease the fear I read him a story (something I admit to not doing enough of).  As I am reading him this story there was a small ephinany.  This story meant for young children was a story of how to live life.  All about the paths we take in life, how to handle the good times and the struggles, about attitudes, keeping true to ourselves, and keeping ourselves out of others business. 


Needless to say both my son and I felt better about things after this story was done.  And I walked away from the lesson with a different perspective of going back to the basics. 


Always keep an open mind - you never know where you will hear the next message that could change your life.

You never know where your going to learn a life lesson from.....please share if you find more.  I guess i should pay more attention to my daughters books!!!
