and son notices Dad says 1 thing 1 minute and completely opposite the next! The words coming from his mouth are twisted! But at least Im not the only one hearing them! Im not going nuts! (well not more so - lol)
At one of my first face to face meetings an oldtimer talked to me (beginner meeting). She said that living with an active alcoholic is living with insanity.
This is true.
I used to try to figure things out but nothing made sense.
My A would first say the moon is green cheese, then the moon is pixie dust. He told me he was smarter than Einstein, oh I could go on.....
It was so liberating not to try to figure out the nonsense.
