He was sent to NE Med Ctr for his angiogram (after EKG and stress tests) and then on to Dept of Correction.
Im thinking if he was sent to the jail maybe now they are focusing on his rehab and his physical is okay?
God it sucks when they send them from one place to another and dont contact the family. We dont even know where they're being sent!
2/3 - He is now at Bridgewater. We're thinking they will take 4days off his original 30days as he's already been in the court system? Hopefully now he can get the alcohol treatment he needs - and Im hoping he gets some kind of anger management while there too. He is telling our mother he's ready to move out of her house after he's released. Hopefully now that he's finally where he was originally to be sent my mother can start to work on herself and feel better. Thank you
Remember he has his own HP too. This is where the serenity prayer may help you out when you have no control over knowing where he is etc. Make sure to take care of you and do things just for your health and well-being now. His logical consequences are taking place and he probably isn't worrying about you. (although no one knows that) I do know when I would worry my heart out about my A, she was not thinking one bit about me or how I was feeling. When my son was committed to hospital, alanon friends kept telling me - "his is in a safe place, just for today - take care of you". Found it hard to take, and, not entirely sure how safe it was! - but, the thing is, I had to let go of him, I could not handle his illness, and, to that extent, he was in a safe place, they sorted out meds for him.
Just for today, you, your mom and, as far as we know, your brother, are all safe. Try to keep reminding yourself of that.
