Can anyone recommend a step book that i could buy. I would really like to start writing and getting a sponsor.

I really like Paths to Recovery.  Chapter on each step with questions that help you think about that step.  It also has the traditions and concepts.

Normally, this is not enough information to but you did say in your personal information that your father is an "A".


I too grew up in a dysfunctional home.  I am presently reading The 12 Steps for ACOA's, you can see the copy of it at the bottom of our Board, i couldn't wait & went out & bought one new but you can get them on-line used for around $3 I believe.


It is really helping me to understand how my feelings get twisted up & destroy my ability to cope.  (One day at a Time).


We have a great chat room w/ mtgs twice daily M-f 9a/9p EST if ur interested...  or just come in & shoot the breeze.
