Do they usually take these seriously? I called the Hotline 800# and they referred me to her district. Explained some of it, took 15mins


So now Ive spoken with the Courthouse and with Elder Services. Do I need to call the police too or see what happens?

My heart goes out to you!!!!!  


I am a mother of a mentally ill son and understand how terrifically hard it is to be placed in a positon of having to do something to protect myself from my child.  It's got to rate right up at the top of "heartbreak".


I know what you are having to do is incredibly hard, but it sure seems like someone needs to help your mother and brother.


I'm not aware of how any of the agencies work there, but I would keep checking with the ones you have talked to to make sure they follow up on the situation and it doesn't get put to the side.


My prayers are with you and your family!

I think its going to be left to me to file the criminal report with the Court.
