well guess that answers that - I wont be going


Cant stay anyplace else as I was thinking of taking my son who wont be attending all of the convention.

He's only 13. I wont have him stay at 1 hotel when he's not attending AlAnon while Im at the other.

I know you were excited and had planned on attending.  Is there any other options that you could look into?  Could your son possibly attend the meetings with you?  Could you bring someone along so that your son wouldn't be alone at the other hotel while you attended?  Could your son stay with a friend while you went by yourself?  At the hotel where the convention is being held, is there an activity room or indoor swimming pool or someplace safe that you're son could be while you attended the meetings?  You've probably thought of all these ideas already, but figured I'd throw them out there just in case.
