This was written by a young girl who was in jail for drug charges,
and was addicted to crystal meth. She wrote this while in jail. As you will soon read, she fully grasped the horrors of the drug, as she tells in this simple, yet profound poem. She was released from jail but true to her story, the drug owned her. They found her dead not long after, with the needle still in her arm. Please keep praying.
This thing is worse than any of us realize...
I am meth
I destroy homes, I tear families apart,
I take your children, and that's just the start.
I'm more costly than diamonds, more precious than gold,
Where I live we have a terrible problem with people stealing the anhyrous amonia (not sure of spelling) it is what the farmers use. It is a main ingredient in meth!!!!!!
My husband is addicted to meth and it sucks, really sucks what it has done to him. His cousin killed himself on it, his uncle died from it, his other uncle is dying from hep c b/c of it, and the list goes on and on. He is dying from it too because he cannot stop himself from shooting into his veins. He has finally lost everything but will he stop? Only time will tell. Very scary stuff and sooooooo sad. Thanks for sharing, gives me a little insight.
My brother too, used drugs and he knew too, it had caused him some brain damage, he was not as "sharp" as he used to be. He was devestated by substance abuse and alcohol..and eventually lost his life at a young age..so sad.
Thanks for sharing this poem. My niece is addicted to meth. And as the poem says it took a parent from the kids. She has abandoned four children. Stop the madness.
