Hi, I discovered this site about two weeks ago. I am so grateful for it, I have made 3 face to face meetings it feels good to concentrate on me for a change. My a even commented that I seem relaxed and he has no idea that I made the meetings. He's been up to his usual stuff and I feel hopeful for the first time in a very long time. Lil.
Hi Lil - glad youre going to F2F. I fought them in the beginning. However I have found a Sat morn meeting which fits my schedule better and Ive started to share.
Im also feeling more relaxed. Sure the stinkin thinkin comes back once in a while but for the most part the focus is back on me.
Welcome to the MIP room. It is good that you are going to face to face meetings, though do help it is important to make some friends. Get ur self a support system. People you can call like a sponsor, friend for coffeee or in times of need to listen to u.
