I knew you would say that. It's not that I want to just put a pic of him for everyone to see. I just wanted to post a pic of him and our big dogs. Sorry for asking.

Louise, I guess I'm just an open person. My A and I both are. You still didn't respond to my last post like I wanted. (hint hint)

Cathy,

Don't forget that there are newcomers to this site whose motives may not be as healthy as yours, or whose spouses may not have the open attitude that yours does. Even though it might be harmless in your particular situation to post your loved one's picture, someone else might follow that example with less than desirable results.

I always turn to the steps and the traditions when I have a question about whether something I want to do is a good idea for me or not...Tradition 1 suggests we do what is best for the most people to maintain unity, and Tradition 11 says we are to guard with special care the anonymity of all AA members. Maybe those will help?

PS: Totally understand wanting to show off your sweet  dogs . I would take out a billboard of my dog if I could afford it!

Cathy,

I have posted pictures of my children, as I speak of them often and am so proud of them, I wanted to share. But I myslef would not feel comfortable posting a picture of my A. I would feel that it somehow compromised his confidentiality.

Just my opinion.
