I wish I could help him too, unfortunately he is the only person who can help himself.
 
YOU MUST DO EVERYTHING YOU CAN TO LEGALLY DISTANCE YOURSELF FROM HIM. 
 
He is very sick - but even though you are his wife that doesn't mean that you don't love him, or care for him -- But you can't let him destroy your own life and ESPECIALLY your daughter's.
this is the man that  married us.   
                       
 now does anybody know how to legally distance  my self from him
  and by doing that what does that mean?
 
what exactly is a legal seperation?
still have not heard a word about him . but my sister n law ordered chinese food & i filled up my card if you get 10 checks you get $8.00 off . my meal and my daughters came to 28 cents what a bargain lol
i dont know what i would have done it it wasn't for all of you

I'm not sure how applicable it would be, since he may not have a job. I also read that it is just about as costly as a divorce. It's mostly about money, taxes and things like keeping insurance through the spouse.
