I feel a little better, thank you

Thank you to all who responded to Why do I get so angry. I feel a little better, I suppose I do, I feel more like crying instead of being mad. I have such mixed emotions, like everyone I suppose or we wouldn't be here.

I printed the post 10 Guidelines from our HP.  I'll have to study them or get them beat into my brain somehow.  In short I have "To let go and let God"

Those mixed emotions can be difficult at times. I know not too long ago I went from crying to yelling w/in seconds. Sometimes I was so confused and I know it was just as confusing for my A.

Letting Go and Letting God is easier said than done. But the greatest is when you truely do it and the serenity that flows over a person. It is a calm that nothing else can compare to.

I wrote those 10 guidelines from God in my journal. I read it often and have shared it w/a lot of my f2f Program friends. Such a good reminder for me.

Sandy, you are doing okay. Remember, we are all where we are suppose to be.

One thing that I had issues with is that I stuffed my feelings for a few years and then they came out all sideways. After much reading and meditation it came to me that the process for letting them go was acknowledge feelings, feel the feelings and then turn them over to our HP and release them.

I don't know if you read this from me awhile ago, but one visual that my sponsor suggested helping me trying to release feelings and emotions was envision a balloon. Fill it up w/whatever is bothering you and then picture a bright blue sky in your mind. Then release that balloon and watch it float away. I can't tell you how many times I have done this!

Sounds like you are doing well Sandy....  I also think we need to remember to be gentle on ourselves, and that sometimes anger can be a positive tool, as opposed to completely negative.... If our "anger" drives us to find a new & better way of handling the same old scenario, then it must be seen as helpful, & not hurtful

Take Care
