Roomies,

Well this is a response to my previous post "Oh that lovely gossip".

This morning when I got to work my boss was there and neither one of the three I needed to talk to was there. So I went to him, I honestly was afraid that I would chicken out. I told him what happened and what my plan was, he agreed that this was the best course of action to take.

Well, I talked to one and she said that what I was told was taken completely out of context, and that only part of the conversation was heard, and that if the person who told me this would have listened to the whole conversation, they would know that she wasn't bad mouthing me. I said well, that is what I was told and it is okay to have a problem with me, but come to me. We parted on good terms, but I didn't believe her.

I was able to talk to person #2 right after I spoke to person #1, He was pissed, and basically told me the same thing person #1 had said. He said that he was leaving me messages constabtly and I never called him back, and then he said that he said it was because I was given the wrong number and as soon as I figured that out I tracked him down. Basically a complimant that you had to hear completely to hear the good. He said that he is a "loudmouth" and if he had a problem with me I would know, directly. I told him that this was what I had thought, but I felt the need to assert myself. He was great about the whole thing.

At this point I didn't feel the need to go to person #3 because I heard the same story from the the first 2 people, but since I had gone to the first 2 I went ot person #3. I was told the same story again.

These people had no time to get a story together. So I am giving them the benifit of the doubt.

I am just proud because I asserted myself, and no I can let it go.
