Hey all. I have been such a delinquent (how the heck do you spell that anyhow). Since I have moved back with the hubby, and into the big city, I have been so bad. I don't think I have posted once since I have lived in Calgary! What kind of example is that.
So, just for today, I am going to try to make up for lost time... well, no I am not. I am just gonna post today, and tomorrow we will see.
Life is awesome. I am inlove so deep with my husband again after a 3 year separation. He is not sober, and he is a daily user. However, throught the love, peace and support of the program, I have found peace, and you would never guess that at one time i found him appauling when he had beer breath! Now that I have let that go, he is actually home every day for dinner, and even does homework with the kids! I can't possibly beleive how my life has changed.
My kids are so different too. We had a scary thing with childcare happen in August, a family member accused us of neglecting our kids, etc etc, but that was all sorted out, with us saying goodbye to that family member, and no intentions of maintaining the unhealthy relationship.
I have a job that I like, and even get to see the stars (hollywood type that is)
I can't write more, I need to sign off. I hope to write more often, as I love this serenity I feel, want to keep it, so need to give it to you all.
Welcome to Calgary!!! I don't know where you came from but I hope that you have adjusted well!! It sure sounds like you are doing well and that is nice to see!!

ps. The weather in the summer is usually quite nice. I have lived here all my life and can't remember so much rain!! I hope that our winter is not as bad as we are expecting
Thanks JJ. I come here from Southwestern Alberta, so am quite familiar with the weather... however, it just goes to show you that you can never set your expectations, even for things like seasons!
I have been wondering about meetings, I live in the South west, but have limited time for meetings. I would like to do a Sunday meeting, close to my neighborhood. I miss the people!
