Another sign ???

Yesterday when I came home from work my husband was gone .. Out drinking I was sure of it. Both of my children has plans and so I went to another f2f. I came home around 9:30 and when I pulled up and turned off my lights I noticed my husband staggering around the yard. Then he pulled his pants down and urinated in the FRONT YARD.. I was speachless, and just sat and watched this man I once knew. Problem, the kids were coming home.. I sat in the car watching this for about 20 min. Watching him stagger around almost falling down several times. Is this just another sign ?? Another way of my HP telling me that I am doing the right thing ? After about 20 min. I went inside for my a to ask " where have you been ?" I just looked at him.. By this time he had food all over his face. The kids came home about 10:30 and I sneaked them in the house without him even knowing where they were.. That is scary..
I checked on him at 12:00 and he was still laying in bed watching TV.. ( i slept with my daughter ) Then to my suprise he got up this am and went to work. Giving me the opportunity to pack and leave without conflict. Another sign maybe ??? I am sure he went to work with a MAJOR hangover, and probably a little drunk still .. ( that too is scary since he is a firefighter/emt)..

Were these signs or just me trying to find signs validating my actions ??

Tammy

Today is the day.. Last night I went to another f2f

Tammy,

Good for you!

If that isn't your HP at work, I don't know what is.

Do you have any idea how incredibly brave and strong you are right now? I am so proud of you.

Keep it up. It's your life. Take no prisoners!

Live strong,
Karilynn

You said you were waiting for another sign....I hope the transition is easy for you.  You know deep inside the truth.  It just that change, even GOOD change is hard, it's just part of human nature.  I look forward to your new postings of empowerment.  Hang in there.  Work the program.

Hugs Mary

Tammy,

Follow your HP and your heart, only you know what is right for you.

I to think you are brave and extremely  strong for what you are doing. Leaving is not a sign of weakness niether is staying. We all must do what is right for us and our children. And your path is right for you, but may not be right for someone else.

Keep us posted on how you are doing. You and your family are in my prayers.

Much Love,

Tammy

I don't think you're just validating your actions. I too had a sign last night after coming home from my ftf meeting. My a was so mad that I left for the evening without "servicing him". After all, that is my" wifely duty". I couldn't believe he said that and was totally serious. Needless to say it was a long night, and he didn't get serviced, go figure! So, I not leaving yet but it's confirming my believe that leaving is my only road to happiness. I sure do hate weekends, way to much time together! This man is sucking the life out of me.

Good for you for getting out. Stay strong and keep watching for those signs.

Whitie
