in remembrance

With all those who lost their lives on this day with the terriorist attack in mind, i was praying for their familys.  Today must be a hard day for them.  And all the thinking of today got me thinking of tomarrow.  I wonder if they would have known there won't be a tomarrow if they would have said i love you a few more times today, maybe pray before they left for work or put the to do list down for a day to play ball with their children.

Of course I will never know when my last day will be, but i do know one thing and that is that i do have today.  I have right now and i have been given the choice to live today the way i want to or to keep it status quo.  Today i want to make a extra effort to make sure my family and friends know how much i truely treasure them. To not only say how i feel, but to show them with my actions how precious they are to me.  I want to step over that laudry pile.  I want to make the relationships with the one's i love take presedence over my to do list so that all my tomarrows have the kind of yesterdays i would want my loved ones to remember.

love you all very much,

Trina

Mastiff,

That was very sweet of you. Thank you from someone whose loved ones were affected on that day. My A was in the city on that day on the way down to the Trade Center to meet a client. He missed his train. But he lost friends as did my father. I wasn't able to contact him for 2 days. So I didn't know if he was okay. That God he was.

You never do know. My A and I have a set of rules that we try hard to live by.
1. We never go to bed without saying "I love you." (even if we've fought)
2. We never say good-bye without saying "I love you." (even if we're just running an errand)
3. We always tell each other to be careful. His way of saying be strong no matter what.

Because you never do know. That's why this year, though especially tough could have been much worse. He could not be here at all.

So hold your family and friends extra close, and reach out to those in need. Remember all those that have gone before us.

To my new found family here, from the bottom of my heart:
Thank you and I love you all dearly.

Live strong,
Karilynn
