I really hate to ask...I need $100 via priority mail within two days so I can pay insurance and gasoline. Without that my car can be impounded (new rules).
I've accomplished a lot these last couple days:

I signed up for Vocational Rehabilitation. The process will take a minimum of 60-120 days. All I have to do is jump on the train and give em the papers and awaaaaay we go...
I do have an appointment with a temp service on Friday, hope they can help.
I finished the other half of the riverwalk by accident...there are no benches on the left side of the walk, only on the right. Walking from Oak/SW1 to Rose Quarter across the pedestrian bridge left me exhausted...and grinning from ear to ear as I never expected to finish :)
There may be a rant coming in the near future; that's how bad things are getting. It WON'T be a numbered post. Those who know me know that for me to write a rant is a very bad sign indeed. The grief and depression and social humiliation (especially from al-anon groups) is really getting me down. If you can spare me extra prayers, I need them more than ever!

So sorry you are having such a difficult time right now. Very sad to hear that you are not getting the necessary support from the local alanon groups. I hope that things turn around for you soon.

Sorry to hear about your troubles. Did you read my other post about looking for possible employment in a restaurant? I know that when the kids go back to school there are always employment opportunities in various areas, as the void needs to be filled. This may very well get you back on your feet til you get something else,,or you may want to remain there. Have you checked on the boards at the local unemployment offices, you may also find something there? Keep on trying something will come along. Take care,,,,,,,gardengal
