Hi my name is malissa. I am 29 years old i have been married to my A husband for 7 years. I really enjoy this site I've been to the chat room for Al-anon very nice people in there . I hope I can find help here to. I know I will . I would like to start working on my steps soon but when i went in to the 12 message board room they were on step 11 i think and i want to start on the fist one all the way to step 12 so i guess i will have to wait until they get to step 1 again. well i just wanted to say hi and thinks for being here.
Welcome, I am sure that you will get the support that you are looking for. I have only been part of al-anon for a month or so. I find so much confort on the message board.
This borad has helped me countless times. I coem here to vent, and to read the experience, strength, and hope of others when I am really in need of it. This sight has been a gift to me from my HP many times.
Keep Coming back.
Megan suggsted the Paths To Recovery Book, and I will second that. That book has been helpful to me, not just with the steps, but the traditions as well.
Much Love,

There is a wealth of information and lots of experience, strength and hope shared here and in our chatroom. You did not mention in your note if you attend face-to-face Al-Anon meetings. I have found those very helpful to me in doing my steps and also I have a sponsor. I, also, have found the book "Pathyway to Recovery" very helpful and I use the "Blueprint for Progress" as my guide in doing the steps.
Keep coming back!
