" God, I offer myself to Thee - to build with me and to do with me as Thou wilt.  Relieve me of my bondage of self, that I may better do Thy will.  Take away my difficulties, that victory over them may bear witness to those I would help of Thy Power, Thy Love, and Thy Way of life.  May I do Thy will always."


I read this every morning.  To me, honestly, if the whole world read the Big Book and tried to live by the principals of AA & Al Anon, well it would be a much nicer place to live.

My addict knows this prayers forwards, backwards, sideways- he uses it at least once or twice a day with his phone buddies.
