It just struck me today that I have been with/on the MIP alanon message board for three years now, and I need to celebrate a little tonight as the steamy temperatures here subside into a cooler evening! Wow, anyone else know how long they've been on board? Thought this might be an interesting thread.
[Have to say where I was three years ago, (Depression, Desperation, and Despair, spiraling downward) to Today (more calmness, peace, serenity, the boat can still rock, but I guess I know how to ride the waves or reach a safe shore!) ]
Being a member is one thing. Contributing continuously like you have is another thing :) You have helped me so much in my journey with the disease of alcoholism/drug abuse and I would like to give you many thanks for your service here and to my personal recovery. I am not quite sure my exact date I first came to the message board but it has been a little over a year. If the old message board were still accessble I could find the date :) (((((((((((((((((((wallsal)))))))))))))) Big hugs and a (iiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii) celebration cake for you too :) your friend, cdb
I think that I have been on about 3 years. I didn't have the nerve to post until about 9 months ago. MIP helps alot because my meetings are 30 miles away and in bad weather it is hard to make it.
