Hi Kathy


I just wanted to tell you how happy I am that you are here.  It really helps me to see the other side of addiction and have a lot more compassion, something I was seriously lacking.  So I appreciate your contributions to this board.  And congratulations on your recovery.

I second Julie's thoughts.  I've learned alot here and I realize that even though I know the addiction is completely controlling him and he really WANTS to stop--he probably won't.  At least right now.  And I know that I don't have to accept unacceptable behavior.


It sucks.
