Hello Cjo,

This morning my mom saw a doe outside the cabin on the road here! I told her about your interpretation of the sightings like that. What would it mean now that she saw a doe? She asked the neighbors if they saw it and none of them did. One neighbor told her there have been bears around here before too. Yikes LOL.  This is the first time a doe has been seen here right next the the cabin. I am curious on what that site says when a person sees a doe like she did today.  cdb :) PS. how are things going with you too? I miss you!

CDB,
Sorry, I was out of town too. I made a weekend run to IN to see my parents. Whew..I'm whooped, about 1,000 miles from Fri-Sun.
Anyway..Here is what it means if deer is your totem. Totems can change depending on the situation and personal lessons learned. I'm sure you realize that seeing a deer doesn't necessarily mean anything. Take what you want and leave the rest :)
If you'd like to understand this more, visit http://www.spiritualnetwork.net/totems/

This is what the deer totem means.
PAST: You may have just experienced a situation where you found your gentle nature was more effective then pushing your way through. Take time to consider and look back through the window of events and experiences. See where and when love, understanding and kindness was more powerful then insisting, demanding, pushing or fighting to get your own way. If you're still feeling vulnerable, fearful or sensitive from some previous wound, give yourself time to heal.

PRESENT: You are being asked to find the gentleness of your spirit. Self nurturing and loving yourself may be a priority now. You and others may be pushing to hard to get what you want. You'll notice if anyone is pushing to hard. Set boundaries concerning the ways you should be treated. Deer never walks over their same tracks. It may be time to find a different approach to obtain your goals. If fear is making you act aggressively, step back. Find the power in Deer's gentleness.

FUTURE: Watch for a situation where your ego structure or personal boundaries are confronted. You can help prevent trespasses, your own wounding and other difficulties by asking yourself, am I acting too aggressively in this situation or towards this person? Is there another or a better way of handling this problem? Is there someone who may be trying to push me too hard, or drive me in a direction I don't want to go in. Am I setting boundaries as to how I will allow myself to be treated? You will probably experience a challenge that may bring up fears of be losing control over?

Remember, Deer never walks over their same tracks. Try taking a new approach such as using the power of love and gentleness to obtain your goals. Saying no does not make you a bad person. Don't let people make you feel so. Embrace and experience your fear. You don't have to give it the upper hand.

Christy

Thank you Christy, :)

This deer and doe live down on the beach where they have let the grass grow really high. They are also seen on the golf course so people see them here often. If that is the situation then I wonder if it even applies. Like if you work in a zoo and you see the deer everyday? Well, thanks for the information and the website. I am not sharing it with mom today since she has he mind on so many other things... and things get really interesting here when that happens :) I am not sure when I will be back home. Maybe by this weekend. As of now, I will not have a computer to post anything either.Take care, cdb :)  Thanks again for the information.
