My son is home in total misery, but the surgery is done. He said it feels like someone hit him in the face with a baseball bat. He has packing in his sinuses and a lovely gauze bandage under his nose for drainage. It's a good thing he's so wiped out or he'd be throwing a fit, saying he looked like a dork...lol
There was a concern for a couple hours after the surgery..his blood pressure was hovering at 174/103 and when he went in it was 120/74. It took a couple hours to come down and the Dr. was great, kept checking him until it got to a point where he felt he could come home, which was 136/94, still a little high, but I can take his BP here and keep monitoring it.
So, thank you my dear friends for your prayers and well wishes. We're on the home stretch now :)
Love,
Christy

Thanks so much for the update. (((((((((((((((son)))))))))) It is a good thing they found out about his blood pressure. When my hubby had surgery once, they found out he had extra low blood pressure. Hopefully your son high blood pressure was just from the anxiety from surgery. I sure feel for him. I remember when my kids got out their wisdom teeth. You take care and hope to see you soon. Glad everything went well. cdb :)
