She is in Rehab

I don't know if I want her to come back.

My kids and I are finally relaxing and my older ones don't want her back right now.

She has caused a lot of pain. Financial burdens. Mental scars.

I know it was my fault for not getting her out of the house sooner.

I don't want her back.

I need time to heal and I don't need to deal with her crap.

I won't.

Not Again................................

Thank You

For listening and have a great day..........

Hello Tulle,I understand exactly how u feel at the moment. You don't have to make any decissions right now she is safely tucked in rehab, I hope u use this time to find Al-Anon meetings for yourself and family. You need support from people who understand exactly how u feel and u will find them here in Al-anon. This program changed my life ,I came because of the A i stay for me. This is a disease and has many nasty symptoms and you too need to recover from alcoholism, al anon will give u some understanding and help with the anger and fear you are feeling now.

There is also  a program available for `12-18 yr olds called Alateen this will give them a chance to meet kids like themselves and they too will know they are not alone.

Here is the international Al-Anon phone number for info on meetings in your area it is toll free and open from 8am =8pm mon thru fri.  Please call

Good luck and maybe we will meet u in the chat room one day . we have meetings daily at 6 am and pm . that will help until u find local meetings. oh and remember it's ok to love an alcoholic.       bye for now   Louise

"I know it was my fault for not getting her out of the house sooner."

Please remember the three Cs of alanon - you didn't cause it, you can't control it, you can't cure it.
Personally, I'm trying really hard these days not to use words like 'fault' or 'blame', because they don't really mean anything useful. I'm trying instead to see what my part in things is, and to do better next time, if I feel I handled things badly. If I have harmed someone, I try to make amends, and if someone harms me, I try to protect myself better next time. Don't always succeed, but I'm trying....
Rehab is a good safe place for her to be, try to relax and enjoy this time. A little rest can be so healing.
