Been reading your posts and I want to thank you for sharing.   Yes, my spouse is now back in AA, 4 month sobriety, saw him start to teeter, and wondered if he would stop meetings.  He did go to an "open" AA dinner last night, and he then went to a meeting last night.  Someone in his group handed him a Grapevine magazine, and he seemed to be thrilled with it!

Anyway, on your post the image of the Elephant and the sparrow on the see-saw, (my A being the Elephant while active, I certainly dont have a chance!)  The image will stick in my mind I hope for good.  I've certainly let the "balance" in our marriage get way too one-sided and unfair in the past.  I can not go back to what it once was.  4 months sober, and once again, I hope it sticks.  : )
