My version of "God Box"

My approach to a "God Box".  I have a shallow planter, basket.  I write on a tree leaf my negative that I wish to leave to my HP (such as control, detachment, anger).  I place it in my planter, basket.  Usually the next day, it has blown away, my HP has taken it away from me, for I gave it up.

God box , nice concept isn't it? unique way of letting go. I had a God box yrs ago where I put all my personal problems  and the people I loved including the A. Then I read an article in our forum magazine and it had a cartoon with it which appealed to me so my idea of a God box changed.

The one thing I always forgot was that everyone has a H P and he would take them where they needed to go with out any help from me.  the cartoon was a God box upside down dumping all these little people out. husb , siblings, children etc.  and the next cartoon was her climbing in the box and closing the lid.  Her higher power had enough to do looking after her needs so she realsed the others to thier higher power to do with what had to be done.

I liked that concept so I adopted it for my self.   Over the yrs my faith has increased a 100 fold since working this program, there is no doubt in my mind who is running my life today.  I have learned to give it all to God, do the footwork and leave the outcome.   God is everything or  nothing, he appears to not be interested in part time work.  hehe

Thanks for the topic , we don't talk about it much here. i'ts a great lesson on letting Go

Love Louise

Hello DeAnna,

Three years ago I was in Scottsdale, AZ at a modern art museum. Yoko Ono had an exhibit. She actually had a real tree and each person could write something on a note and hang it from the tree. It also had to do with gratitude. Just thought I would share how similiar your idea was to Yokos LOL.  cdb :)
